Go ahead, jump

30°19' 11" N, 86°8' 25" W
The bride and groom wanted in on the jumping action as well. Funny and cute, and hopefully worth keeping for them. I don't want to sound pious or prideful, but I wish we had some fun wedding pictures like this from our wedding. I remember our photographer was an older gentleman and his wife; he had trouble hearing, and she had trouble seeing. Most of the shots were of us floating in a sea of darkness (from the flash), looking shiny and heavily shadowed. Oh well, live and learn.

awesome dynamics and color.. did you add the vignetting at the top? DId you use a polarizing filter for this?

I used a Cir. Polarizer for these yes, I "enhanced" a vignette that was already there.

Add a flying saucer in the sky and it could look like they're getting abducted for their honeymoon! Very fun pic. I love to see fun wedding shots.

This is it! I wish I can have funny pictures like this when I get married. I am really tired of watching the beautiful-but-oh-so-boring typical photos.
On the technical aspect of your photo, I really love the colours, bride's flowers make such an impressive contrast with the sky and sea. Congrats!

I echo your sentiments. I wish I had "open minded" photographers around some of the events I've been to. It just shows a different side of things besides your formal / traditional shots.

Well done. I'm sure the happy couple would love this!
